EPIC LIVESTREAM was created by Emmy award-winning film and television producer Jay Ferguson. Over the past 35 years, Jay has worked in every format imaginable, ranging from feature films, documentaries, commercials, and online content. There is not a format he hasn’t worked in. 

 

Except for live sports broadcasting…until now.

 

Ten years ago, Jay’s daughter became a competitive snowboarder, ranking nationally and provincially. But he was disappointed by the low level of attendance in the sport. Jay soon joined the Board of Directors of Ontario Snowboard to help raise participation levels using his skills as a storyteller.

Jay created intriguing online content that has been shared and enjoyed around the world. With this success in hand, Jay wanted to take the organisation to the next level and provide professional livestreams of their competitions.

Over the last four years, he has been building and testing a system to livestream competitions so that the world can watch from home.

​

Through trial and error, and continual research, Jay has designed an economical system to produce livestreams that rival broadcasters like ESPN and TSN.
